Low torque bonnet seal is a bore type seal assembly that not only extends into the intermediate flange but is also captured in the machine bore in the body face. The bonnet seal is independent, does not depend on the bonnet torque. It greatly reduces torque requirements for bonnet bolts, thus extends the bonnet bolt thread life.
